ROBERT ALTER
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Seaview Investors is led by Robert Alter (Bob), a distinguished figure in hotel investment and management. Bob Alter is the Chairman Emeritus and Founder of Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (SHO) based in Irvine, California, established in 1985 as a prominent hotel ownership and management firm which went public in 1995.

Under Bob’s leadership from 1995 to 1999, Sunstone grew significantly, acquiring 49 hotels, including the Kahler Hotel Company in 1997 for $335 million, achieving revenues of $450 million and a valuation of $1 billion by 1998. In 1999, Bob orchestrated a management-led leveraged buyout with Westbrook Partners, culminating in a valuation exceeding $900 million.

From 1999 to 2004, Bob continued to expand Sunstone Hotel Investors, LLC, acquiring and repositioning properties, totaling 44 acquisitions and 45 dispositions. In October 2004, he guided Sunstone Hotel Investors, LLC to its IPO as a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with an enterprise value of approximately $1.6 billion.

As CEO, Bob spearheaded Sunstone’s acquisition spree, including landmark properties like the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza and the Hilton Times Square, growing revenues to over $1 billion by 2007. He transitioned to Chairman of the Board in 2007, concluding his tenure after overseeing the acquisition of 125 hotels, renovations exceeding $1 billion, and the development of 7 ground-up hotels.

Currently serving as CEO of Seaview Investors, LLC, Bob oversees operations of 7 hotels across Southern and Northern California, specializing in adaptive reuse projects such as transforming office buildings into thriving hospitality venues. Notable projects include the dual-branded Curio by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton near LAX, and the AC Marriott in Beverly Hills.

In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Bob co-founded Buy Efficient, LLC and received numerous accolades, including Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1998 and recognition from Cornell University for hospitality entrepreneurship.

Bob holds a degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and remains actively involved in industry leadership and philanthropy. He resides in Newport Coast, California with his wife Joni, and is committed to community service, including roles with the Boys and Girls Club and the Orange County United Way. Together, Bob and Joni have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren.

JONI ALTER
VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING

Joni has served on the executive team of Seaview Investors since it’s inception in 2006, responsible for the overall sales, marketing, staffing and RevPAR performance of the Seaview portfolio of hotels. Joni oversees all aspects of the sales efforts for each property including revenue management, e-commerce, advertising, and sales deployment to maximize revenues and achieve hotel profit objectives. With over 30 years of experience in the hotel business, Joni previously was Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Remington Hotels, overseeing 17 properties across the U.S. and was Director of Marketing for Interstate Hotels and Resorts, where she was Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Bonaventure and Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort. Prior to that, Joni held a variety of executive sales and marketing positions with hotel management firms including Richfield Hospitality, Northwest Hospitality, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Red Lion Hotels. Joni is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine, and resides in Newport Coast, California with her husband, Robert.

LINDSAY MONGE
PRESIDENT

Lindsay serves as the President of Seaview Investors, and he is responsible for developing the company’s long-term strategy and supporting the growth of our portfolio hotels to realize the inherent opportunity in each of the markets Seaview has a presence. Lindsay is a tenured hospitality professional bringing broad hotel operations experience from both the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City and the Westgate Hotel in San Diego. Lindsay also brings more than 15 years of real estate and portfolio experience from Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (NYSE : SHO) in a variety of senior leadership roles, ultimately serving as the Senior Vice President – Chief Administrative Officer, Secretary and Treasurer. Lindsay has served on the Seaview Advisory Board since inception in 2021, and he works with the Seaview Leadership Team to develop and execute the company’s long-term strategy. Immediately prior to joining Seaview Investors, Lindsay served as Chief Operating Officer at MagnaFlow, an automotive manufacturing firm with global distribution, for six years after being promoted from Chief Administrative Officer in 2018. Lindsay is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with concentrations in both real estate and finance, and Lindsay received his MBA from Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. Lindsay lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and two sons.

SEAN STIER
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

As the Chief Financial Officer of Seaview Investors, Sean is responsible for hotel financial reporting, cash flow management and lender compliance. He joined the team in March 2024 after 25 years of experience in real estate accounting and finance, working with hotel, office, retail and residential portfolios. Sean served as Assistant Controller and Controller of several development and management companies, including Standard Pacific Homes, Western National Property Management and The Ratkovich Company. With The Ratkovich Company, he was responsible for accounting and finance functions at the Hercules Campus at Playa Vista and the BLOC in downtown Los Angeles. His role encompassed responsibility for the full financial functions of both projects. He developed the accounting and reporting platform for the Hercules Campus, which achieved recognition as one of the largest returns for a commercial asset in Los Angeles County upon sale to foreign investors 5 years after acquisition. Sean’s work on the BLOC included accounting for a comprehensive set of assets, consisting of two office towers, three levels of retail, a parking structure and the Sheraton Grand Hotel. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Accounting/Finance and obtained his MBA from Cal State University – Long Beach. Sean holds a CPA license from the state of Illinois. Sean lives in Orange County with his wife Tracy and two boys, Tyler and Braeden, who both attended Orange Lutheran High School. He loves the outdoors, is an avid swimmer and member of Mission Bible Church in Costa Mesa.

TIFFANY JASSEL BEVINS
VICE PRESIDENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT

Tiffany J. Bevins joined the Seaview Investors portfolio of hotels in 2017 as a sales and property manager. She quickly transitioned to the ownership team as an asset manager, focusing on the operational aspects of new development opportunities. Having spent her career in hotel management, her expertise spans new openings, hotel sales and operations, recruitment and talent development, labor management, and financial analysis. Tiffany spent the first part of her career primarily working with Vista Host Hotels in various positions, most recently Regional Director of Operations and Talent Development. Tiffany received her B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management from Penn State University in 2009. In 2019, she graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with her M.S. in Hospitality Management, and she is now an instructor within the College of Business and Economics at Cal State University Fullerton. Tiffany lives in Orange County, CA with her husband, daughter and son.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNOLOGY

Bob oversees the implementation, deployment and ongoing management of all property internet and networking, WiFi and DAS coverage, telecommunications systems and carriers, Property Management Systems, and television entertainment distribution systems and components at the portfolio hotels.
